Swimming

I'm just kidding, we're really going to talk about football again.

I did super awesome at the football game Monday night! I kicked their butts and got a touchdown and the two point conversion. I am only the second kid to score on this team this season. Yea me! It was cool! Woo Hoo!

Charles Thompson

We had a surprise at football practice on Sat. morning. Charles Thompson, OU quarterback 1986-89, came to help us and our coaches. Everyone was pretty excited when he came. After practice was over we got to have our picture made with him and he autographed stuff for us.



He signed my practice jersey, my helmet and a picture of himself. He is a nice man.



One thing I learned from him was on a 43 reverse, instead of going straight, I will make a circle and then go behind the quarterback and he will sit and then he will sit again. I will get the ball and go through the 3 hole. Maybe we will try this play at tomorrow night's game.

Today we had a scrimmage with the Ravens. We did okay. We had a tie game.

football

At football practice we do a drill called the Oklahoma drill. It is where the running backs try to make a touchdown. There is a guy who blocks the guy trying to tackle the running back from getting a touchdown. There is also a safety who can't let the running back get a touchdown. It's a hard drill, but I like doing it because it's fun and I get to carry the ball. WHOOO!

My first game is next Thursday, I hope we win and I play well!

I played football in the rain. It was fun playing in the rain. I accidentally slid on my pants. When i got back up i fell ugin. I got hurt to but i was brav to get back up and practice.

I like school. I am in Mrs. Rice's class this year. I am having fun so far. One of my best friends, Gabe, is in my class this year. That's awesome! Another friend, Parker, is in there too!

I will make good grades and do my best this year.

I had football practice this morning and had weigh-in. I weighed 48.2 lbs. That means that i can run the ball.

I'm also having fun playing football this fall! I think that I'll end up being a running back. Maybe you can come to a game sometime. My mom will let everyone know when my games are.

Mes Nouveaux Amis

The other night my mom had some old friends over for dinner. They brought their kids with them. I had fun playing with my new friends. Their names are Will and Wyatt. They live in France. They are here visiting their families for a while. They were fun to play with. We played sword fighting. Sometimes they would mix French words and English words together.
